Joan White was an influence
in the development of the Sacral Web. She has several versions in her studio. As she came down from her first try of the Sacral Web, Patricia Walden exclaimed, "I love it!" She is kind to endorse the Sacral Web. Chris Saudek, author of Yoga Kurunta, has this to say about the Sacral Web: "I do like the narrower version but I liked the other too. I have recommended it and showed it to students who normally don't feel comfortable with the ropes and they do seem to like it. Having it adjustable is a great feature too. Personally, I must admit that I use the ropes most of the time just because that is what I am used to and what is easiest for me. Yet, I find that students who complain about the cut of the rope do find the Sacral Web much more comfortable. So, I will continue to have them in the studio and recommend them. Thank you for the opprtunity to try them." Sara Meeks,
well-known PT & yogini specializing in back care, visited our studio with Cyntia
Mathis (11/14/06) and was enthusiastic about the Sacral Web. She began figuring out how
students can adapt the 'Fig' to working on it; those not in the know have to find out
about the 'Fig'! I
got 'em hung yesterday, Rit. Wow!!! That Sacral Web is the
bomb! One of my friends has been teaching yoga for over 10 years,
and she is coming to visit me in August. She is the one that
turned me onto the ropes. I can;t wait to show her what I
got... :) AJ The two sacral webs arrived
today. They are beautifully made and so comfortable, soft and
flexible! I know I will use these - and prefer these - to any
other belts or “pelvic swings”. Thank you very
much. Phyllis
